This was Coopers first experience with any type of camping. Even though we didn't spend the night, we did have fun around a camp fire. He did really good and I think he liked it.

Just cute pics of Cooper

Sucking his thumb! He just loves that thumb. So cute now, but I think I might hate it later.

Youngmans come to visit

MeeMaw, Stacie, and Lexi and Abbie came to visit us (a few weeks ago, I'm a little late!) It was a lot of fun to have them here, even if Stacie and her girls were only with us for one night, but it was so fun. We went to the park on night and we all had fun on the slides. Cooper had fun getting to know them. It was sure sad to see them go! Can't wait until Christmas time!!!

Jared had one of his first football games and this one was by our
apartment so we went and watched. It was Coopers first football
game. This was only the freshman playing so if it looks like there
is not many people there, there isn't. The man that took this
picture was laughing at me for wanting to take of picture with my baby, but he was really nice about it. Jared is just behind my right shoulder way in the back. It was pretty cold that night, but it was fun!

Hello again!! Cooper went to his first base ball game. What a
blast we all had! We went with a big group of people from our
ward. Cooper really enjoys being outside so this was very fun for
him. Although, buy the time the game was over he was so tired,as you can tell with the picture up top. He was crying so bad!! I
think he was just so tired from all the excitment. But it was fun!!

Hello! We had a beach day a few weeks ago for our ward. Yes, I know that I am a little slow on posting things. But it was a lot of fun. The weather was great. Only a few families showed up, but it was a lot of fun. Cooper really liked being outside and in the water. He would just kick and suck on his fist. He even had some friends show up. In the picture with him is baby George and his sister Stella.

Hello again from Iowa. Pictures are finally uploaded. Wahoo!!!
This is Cooper's first trip to the fair, (and ours). It was a lot of fun. This first picture is Jared and Cooper (in the stroller) as we first walked onto the grounds. You can't tell, but it was like walking into Lagoon or something. There was so many food stands, it was crazy! But we all had a lot of fun!

The next picture is of Cooper in his first horse ever!! He also got to ride the merry-go-round and he saw his first wedding ever!! Yes, this last picture listed is of a couple getting married at the fair. Wow. The best part is that if you look really close, you can see that the best men are really clowns. Well, in fact, so is the groom!! It was pretty amuzing. So, I think we all saw everything! And yes, we even saw the Shawn Johnson statue in butter.

Okay, so it has been a little while since I have written anything. I am still waiting for help to upload some pictures to tell stories. So, I think I will tell about his doctors appointment. He went on the 15th of this month. They said that he is doing well and healthy. He weighed in at a woppin 16lbs and is 24 inches long. So that makes him in the 50th percentile for his weight and the 30th for his height. I call him my little Michellin man because of his cute little rolls. So, for now this will do, but I promise to get those pictures uploaded becuase we have stories to tell!

We also took a trip to Minnesota about a month ago with the youth again and to see Aunt Pammie. While the youth went off to play, me and Cooper went to visit some places with Pam. We saw a conservatory that had many beautiful plants and flowers plus a butterfly area that was nice. Oh, we also saw a sloth named Chloe. She kept her head down the whole time, I think she was sleeping. In the park we were able to ride a "Suri" (two bikes welded together with a canopy on top.) It was a cold day, so we had to bundle Cooper up. It was a lot of fun. We both peddeled while Jared steared and I hung onto Cooper. He slept through the whole thing!

About a month ago, we took a weekend trip to Nauvoo with Jared and the youth group. It was so much fun. We were able to go to Carthage Jail on our way there. Cooper did really well traveling and the kids all had fun entertaining him. The town is so amazing and the spirit is so strong. We went into the store and saw the Temple. The youth went in and did baptisims for the dead while Cooper and I sat out on the grass and enjoyed the humidity. He really likes being outside so he loved being on the grass. How fun it was to go!

Cooper has started a few new things this past week. He has started to hold his own bottle every once in a while so we had to take a picture of it. The other thing he has started to do more and more each day is to suck his thumb. Lately he hasn't wanted a whole lot to do with his binkie, which is fine with me, but it is quickly replaced with his thumb or his fist or finger. It started off with him chewing on his finger or fist, but now he is actually sucking his thumb a little more each day. While I find it rather

cute and entertaining now, I do not look forward to the future and trying to brake him of the habit.

Home for the 4th!!

We took a quick trip back to Utah for the 4th of July. We had a lot of fun. Cooper went swimming for the first time. At first he wasn't sure if he liked it, but he warmed up to it really fast and had a ball! It was a fast trip but very fun to see the family. We drove all night there and back, but for some reason, the trip coming back was a lot longer! Cooper did really well during the ride. Wehung baby einstiens toy from his car seat and that kept him pretty entertained for some of the ride. He is starting to really notice things and grab for stuff. The trip was a lot of fun and great to see everyone.

Since we have gotten back, every once in a while he will hold his bottle when we feed him. It is soo cute! He is so much fun. I am so grateful to have him in our life and I am so lucky to be able to stay home with him so I don't miss this exciting time in his life! There are more pictures I would like to put in here, but I am having problems so I will upload them later!

This is to tell the adventures of Cooper here in Iowa.
Last night he decided that he wanted to see more of his mommie so we had a fun night together.
We took Cooper to the doctor on April 11th and he weighs a wopping 11lbs 9 oz. He is just under 22 inches long. He is doing good!! He is starting to smile a lot!
